On the day of commemoration of the Iveron Icon of the Theotokos (the Keeper of the Gate), His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the monastery of the Iveron Icon of the Theotokos in Comrat.
His Grace Bishop Anatolie of Comrat and Cahul, along with a group of priests from the Southern Diocese, concelebrated to the Metropolitan.
After the Divine Liturgy, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir congratulated the monastic community and the pilgrims, on the celebration of their Patron’s Feast, and called them for love and wisdom according to the teaching of the Orthodox Church.
His Grace Bishop Anatolie thanked the Hierarch for the pastoral care and the joy of concelebrating at the Divine Liturgy in this day dedicated to the Most Pure Mother of God.
The Metropolitan distributed then icons of Holy Hierach Gavriil (Banulescu-Bodoni) from Capriana Monastery and of Blessed Agafia of Cuselauca Monastery, recently canonized by the Orthodox Church of Moldova.
