On the day after the Nativity of Christ, the archpastors of the Orthodox Church of Moldova celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Metropolitan Cathedral.
It has become a beautiful tradition for the bishops of the Orthodox Church of Moldova to gather in the Metropolitan Cathedral and celebrate the Divine Liturgy on the day after the Nativity of Christ – Christmas, in the honour of the Most Holy Theotokos.
After the service, His Eminence Archbishop Sava of Tiraspol and Dubasari congratulated the Metropolitan, on behalf of all Bishops of the Orthodox Church of Moldova, wishing to the Archpastor long life without danger and temptation, strength and steadiness in the mission of ruling the Orthodox Church in our country.
Metropolitan Vladimir also received congratulations from the Metropolitan Secretary, Mitred Archpriest Vadim Cheibas, who talked on behalf of the Cathedral’s clergy and thanked the Archpastor for pastoral care and love of clergy and people.
Closing the Liturgy, the Cathedral’s choir of children sang Christmas Carols in the presence of the archpastors and church-goers.
