27 June 2021, on the Sunday of all Saints, Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and all Moldova visited St. Nicholas Parish in Cricova, to share the liturgical joy with the parishioners.
During the Divine Liturgy, Metropolitan Vladimir was assisted by archpriest Vadim Cheibas, the Secretary of the Metropolis and Dean of the First Church Circumscription of Chisinau, archpriest Zosima Toia, Dean of the Third Church Circumscription of Chisinau, archimandrite Nicolae (Rosca), administrator of the Monastery of Ciuflea, archimandrite Irinarh (Costru), monk superior of the Monastery of Tiganesti, and other clerics.
At the Small Entrance of the Liturgy, priest Nicolae Andries, parish rector, was distinguished with the right of bearing a jewelled cross, in sign of appreciation of good administration of multiple parish activities. The parish’s deacon Iliric Iutis was awarded the right of wearing double horrarion.
Numerous church-goers participated in the Divine Service, giving glory to God and uttering thanks-giving prayers.
After the Liturgy, Metropolitan Vladimir blessed the inauguration of a Crucifix recently built in the churchyard. The clergy then participated in a litany for the repose of ever-commemorated priests Andrei Braniste and Corneliu Bruma, who left many good memories in the lives of the parishioners.
Blessing the liturgical community, the Metropolitan distributed prayer books and icons to the children present at the service.
The arch-pastor then was invited to visit the parish’s cultural, educational and social centre recently constructed with the efforts of father Nicolae and the parishioners.
At the end of the visit, Metropolitan Vladimir awarded arch-pastoral diplomas and church distinctions to the sponsors of the parish.
