12 July 2022, on the Feast of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, Metropolitan of Chisinau and all Moldova Vladimir visited the St. Peter and Paul Parish in Drochia, to officiate the Divine Liturgy and participate in celebrations.

The service began with the consecration of the Holy Table of the newly-built church and continued with the Divine Liturgy.

The hierarch was assisted at the Divine Service by archpriest Pavel Vuluta, Drochia Church District Dean, priest Pavel Robu, the Rector of the parish, and a synaxis of priests and deacons.

Praying among numerous church-goers was the President of Drochia region, Mr. Alexei Vasilean.

During the Small Entrance of the Liturgy, Metropolitan Vladimir conferred high church distinctions to priest Pavel Robu, in sign of appreciation of priesthood ministry and parochial administration efforts. Thus, father Pavel was advanced into the dignity of archpriest and awarded the right of wearing Palitsa, Cross embellished with jewels, and Mitra. Other priests from the deanery also received church distinctions.

After the Divine Service the liturgical community participated in a Cross procession around the church, with Gospel readings and hymns singing.

Thanks-giving service was officiated, and Metropolitan Vladimir addressed a message of congratulation to the parish rector and members of the community. A number of parish ctitors and founders received church distinctions from the arch-pastor, and all participants of the service were offered small spiritual gifts for the memory of the event.

Metropolitan Vladimir was accompanied by the clergy and church-goers in a flower-laying procession to the Monument of St. Stephan the Great in the centre of the town. The arch-pastor consecrated there a See Fleet Memorial inaugurated by Alexander Marinesco Association of Maritime Fleet Veterans. It should be mentioned that this is the fourth See Fleet Memorial inaugurated by the mentioned association in the Romanian area.
