  • On the second day of the Nativity of the Lord, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir received the carolers at the Metropolitan Residence

On the second day of the Nativity, January 8, 2024, after the Holy Liturgy celebrated at the Metropolitan Cathedral, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir received in the Metropolitan Residence in Chisinau hundreds of carolers from several parishes.

The children’s choir of the parish of “St. George the Great Martyr” from Anenii Noi was among the first to bring their bouquet of ancient carols and a profound message related to the Birth of the Christ Infant. These little carol singers impressed with their interpretation and conveyed a meaningful message, illustrating Orthodox Christian traditions and values.

The children’s choir of the parish of “St. Spyridon of Trimithund” in the capital also delighted the atmosphere with ancient carols dedicated to the great feast of the Nativity of Jesus Christ. Through their artistic interpretation, these children brought to the souls of those present the emotion and beauty of the Nativity traditions.

At the end of the artistic moments, the carolers sent their sincere congratulations to His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir on the occasion of the winter holidays, wishing him good health and joyful spirituality. In reply, the Metropolitan offered the carolers gifts and shared with them his thoughts on the importance of proclaiming the Nativity and preserving the values and traditions inherited from our ancestors.

In his speech, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir congratulated the carolers, wishing them that the celebrations of the Nativity, the New Year and the Baptism of the Lord will bring light to their hearts, peace and joy.
