Saturday, 22 May 2021, on the Feast of the Translation of the Relics of Hierarch Nicholas from Myra to Bari, Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and all Moldova officiated the Divine Liturgy in the Holy and Life-Giving Trinity Church in Konkovo, Moscow, a representation of the Orthodox Church of Moldova in Moscow.
Archbishop Sava of Tiraspol and Dubasari prayed together with Metropolitan Vladimir during the Liturgy. The arch-pastors were assisted at the service by the priests and deacons of the parish.
Liturgical responses were provided by the parish choir directed by Larisa Artiushenko.
During the Small Entrance, Metropolitan Vladimir rewarded priest Nicolae Cosneanu with the right of wearing Kamilavka and Epgonation.
At the appropriate moment of the Liturgy, metropolitan Vladimir ordained hierodeacon Efrem (Vadim Rusu) into the dignity of hieromonk, distinguishing him with the right of wearing Epigonation.
Thanks-Giving prayers were uttered at the end of the Liturgy, after which Metropolitan Vladimir addressed a message of greeting and arch-pastoral guidance to the liturgical community, expressing gratefulness to Patriarchi Kirill who instituted, on 12 April 2021, a Representation of the Orthodox Church of Moldova in Moscow within the Holy and Life-Giving Trinity parish in Konkovo.
