Tuesday, 21 September 2021, on the Feast of the Nativity of our Most Holy Mother of God and Ever Virgin Mary, the Monastery of Curchi celebrated its Patron Feast in arch-pastoral liturgy.
“Today a new wold and Heaven of mystery rose, in which the New Adam recreated the old one, renewing the wold. The One who cannot be deceived, deceives the deceiver, and those enslaved to sin by his deception are granted liberation” (Holy Hierarch Gregory Palamas).
Every year on 8/21 September, when the Orthodox Church celebrates the Nativity of the Theotokos, the first Great Feast in the beginning of the new church year, the Monastery of Curchi is embellished in holiday clothes and unites in Holy Liturgy to celebrate its Patron Feast.
This year, the joy of the Feast was augmented by the Divine Service conducted by His Eminence Vladimir, Metropolitan of Chsinau and all Moldova.
