On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir received at the Metropolitan Residence in Chisinau the visit of His Excellency Kent D. Logsdon, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Moldova.
His Eminence Vladimir appreciated the very good relations between the two countries, the Republic of Moldova and the United States of America, and thanked the high guest for his visit, noting that the priority of the mission of the Orthodox Church in Moldova is to intensify the link between the spiritual-liturgical life and social-charitable and philanthropic work.
The Ambassador thanked for the welcome and mentioned that during his diplomatic mission in the Republic of Moldova he has noticed the important role that the Orthodox Church of Moldova plays in society, expressing his willingness to cooperate with the Metropolis of Chisinau and All Moldova in the cultural, educational and social fields.
During the meeting, the two parties stressed the importance of cooperation for the good and benefit of citizens.
