  • Metropolitan Vladimir officiated Divine Service in the Parish of Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel in Corjova, Criuleni district

    11 June 2023, on the First Sunday after the Pentecost, the Sunday of All Saints, His Eminence Vladimir, Metropolitan of Chisinau and all Moldova, visited the parish of Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel in Corjova, Criuleni, to share the joy of the feast with the parishioners.

    The holiday started with the consecration of the Holy Table and the entire church building, and then the Divine Liturgy followed.

    During the service, Metropolitan Vladimir was assisted by archpriest Teodor Pelin, dean of Criuleni and Dubasari church circumscription, archpriest Serghei Burduja, parish rector, and an assembly of priests and deacons.

    Liturgical responses during the service were provided by Hierarch Gabriel Banulescu Bodoni Choir conducted by archpriest Teodor Vrabie.

    During the Small Entrance, Metropolitan Vladimir awarded a number of church distinctions:

    Archpriest Serghei Burduja received the right of officiating the Liturgy with the Holy Doors open till the Lord’s Prayer, and the right of wearing mitra;

    Archpriest Veaceslav Ceban was granted the right of officiating officiating the Liturgy with the Holy Doors open till the Lord’s Prayer;

    Archpriest Teodor Vrabie received the right of officiating the Liturgy with the Holy Doors open till Cherubim Hymn;

    Archpriest Veaceslav Donscoi was granted the right of wearing pectoral cross embellished with jewels;

    Mr. Gheorghe Ojog, mayor of the village, was distinguished with church order of Holy Hierarch Dionisie Erhan, in sign of appreciation of the efforts and support for the refurbishment of the church building.

    During the Divine Liturgy, Metropolitan ordained subdeacon Ghenadie Panfili, first year student at the Theological Academy in Chisinau, into the dignity of deacon.

    After the Liturgy, the praying community followed the arch-pastor in a procession around the church, with hymns singing and gospel readings. Closing the celebration, Metropolitan Vladimir handed distinctions to a number of church ctitors.

    Thanks-giving service was officiated, and the metropolitan congratulated fr. Serghei and the parishioners on this day, mentioning high appreciation of their efforts for the embellishment of the church and strengthening of the liturgical community.

    In his turn, the parish rector thanked the arch-pastor for the care and prayers.
