  • Metropolitan Vladimir consecrated the church of the Nativity of the Mother of God in Palanca, Stefan Voda

    Sunday, 15 January, Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and Moldova officiated the consecration service in the church of the Nativity of the Mother of God in Palanca community, Stefan-Voda region.

    After the consecration service, the arch-pastor was assisted in the celebration of the Divine Liturgy.

    Praying with Metropolitan Vladimir were archpriest Constantin Portarescu, Dean of Stefan-Voda church circumscription, archpriest Veaceslav Cari, parish rector, and other priests and deacons.

    The liturgical responses were provided by the parish choir.

    The church-goers experienced outstanding joy upon the completion of extensive construction works in the parish church, culminated with its consecration.

    In sign of high appreciation of pastoral and administrative efforts, Metropolitan Vladimir awarded to archpriest Veaceslav Cari, the parish rector, the Second Category Order of Holy Hierarch Gavriil Banulescu-Bodoni.

    During the Divine Liturgy, the metropolitan officiated two ordinations: deacon Serghei Dorosenco was ordained priest and appointed to the parish of Holy Great-Martyr Panteleimon in Riscani town, while subdeacon Mihail Ceban received diaconal ordination.

    Thanks-giving litany was pronounced after the Liturgy, the community giving lauds and thanks to God for the help and blessings.

    Archpriest Constaintin Portarescu, District Dean, thanked Metropolitan Vladimir for the pastoral visit and prayers. Fr. Veaceslav also expressed gratefulness to the arch-pastor, appreciating the support in this crucial event in the parish life.

    In the end, Metropolitan Vladimir addressed a message of congratulation and pastoral guidance to the liturgical community, appreciating the effort of the parish rector and the support of the church ctitors and parishioners.

    “This is a new door to the heaven, which you have opened with so much effort, love, and sacrifice. I congratulate all parishioners, thanking you for your eagerness and readiness to support, and wish you to stay in the light of faith and prayer, under the protection of Our Lady Theotokos”, – said Metropolitan Vladimir.
