6 May 2022 (23 April in the Church Calendar), on the day when the Orthodox Church celebrates the commemoration of Holy Great-Martyr, victory-bearer and wonderworker George, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and all Moldova visited St. George Parish in Chisinau to share with the parishioners the joy of their Patron Feast.
The parish rector archpriest Nicolai Florinski and the parishioners greeted the arch-pastor upon arrival, and the celebration of the Divine Liturgy began.
Metropolitan Vladimir was assisted at the service by archpriest Nicolai, archpriest Pavel Borsevschi, Dean of Sector II Chisinau Church Circumscription, and numerous priests and deacons.
After the Liturgy, the praying community engaged in a cross procession around the church, with Gospel Readings and Hymn singing, then Metropolitan Vladimir and the concelebrating clergy uttered thanks-giving litany.
The arch-pastor then addressed a message of congratulation to the community, thanking the rector for devotion in pastoring, and expressing gratefulness to the parish ctitors for their support. Metropolitan Vladimir wished the parishioners blessings from the Lord, strength in prayer and faith, and devotion to Christ.
Archpriest Nicolai thanked Metropolitan Vladimir on behalf of the parish, expressing the joy for the prayers and pastoral guidance.
