22 July 2018, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and all Moldova celebrated the Divine Liturgy on the 8th Sunday after the Pentecost in the skete of St. the Great in Ghiliceni, Telenesti, founded by the Goloseevo monastic community.
Concelebrating to the first hierarch of the Moldovan Church was bishop Nicodim of Edinet and Briceni, and Bishop Isaaky of Vorzel, Vicar of Kiev Metropolis and monk superior of Goloseevo (Kyiv region, Ukraine) monastic community, original of Ghiliceni village. A synaxis of priests and deacons assisted the archpastors at the Liturgy.
At the end of the service, Metropolitan Vladimir addressed a message of congratulation and expressed gratitude to all contributors who supported the construction of the skete, especially to His Grace Isaaky, who adopted over 200 orphans and provides them family care in a facility constructed at Goloseevo monastic community. Metropolitan Vladimir awarded the second degree church order of Blessed Paisy Velichkovski to Bishop Isaaky, in sign of appreciation of pastoral and social mission.
The skete of St. Stephan the Great in Ghiliceni, Telenesti, was edified in 2012-2014. The construction works were funded by the monastic community of Goloseevo, Ukraine.
