On the day of commemoration of Saint Reverent Sava Storojevsky, the Heavenly protector of His Grace Bishop Sava of Tiraspol and Dubasari, His Eminence Vladimir celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church of Holy Archangel Michael in Slobozia.
HG Bishop Sava ofTiraspoland Dubasari and HG Bishop Petru of Ungheni and NIsporeni, along with a number of priests and deacons of Tiraspol Diocese, assisted the Metropolitan during the Divine Liturgy.
During the Divine Service, Archpriest Andrei Danilescu, dean of Slobozia District, was rewarded by the Metropolitan with the right to wear Jeweled Cross, in sign of appreciation of the efforts made for the prosperity and glory of the Orthodox Church of Moldova.
After the service, His Eminence Vladimir congratulated His Grace Bishop Sava on the day of his Heavenly protector, Saint Reverent Sava Storojevsky, wishing him to continue his service as a wise and zealous arch-pastor, for the illumination and salvation of the people thirsty of the Word of Truth.
His Eminence Sava heartily thanked the Metropolitan for the kind wishes and pastoral teaching, and for the acceptance of the invitation to share the joy of the feast with the parishioners of the Diocese of Tiraspol and Dubasari.
