Sunday, 17 November 2019, after the Divine Liturgy, Metropolitan Vladimir prayed in the Church of All Saints at the Central Cemetery in Chisinau, bringing a last homage to late surgeon Vladimir Hotineanu, praying the repose of his soul among the saints.
The commemoration service was officiated in the Church of All Saints, after which Metropolitan Vladimir addressed a message of condolence, outlining personal and professional qualities of the academician. The metropolitan underlined that Vladimir Hotineanu was a good Christian who inherited his faith from parents and was guided during all his professional activity by principles of Christianity.
Vladimir Hotineanu reposed in the Lord at the age of 69. He was a talented surgeon, PhD Professor in Medical Science, academician, and Member of Parliament since 2009. Between 2009 and 2011 was the Minister of Health of the Republic of Moldova, a Cavalier of the Order of the Republic.
