In these difficult moments that the Turkish and Syrian peoples are going through following the devastating earthquake that destroyed entire cities in these two countries, leaving behind tens of thousands of victims, we are thinking of all those who suffered following this wild calamity. The Orthodox Church of Moldova, in all its fullness, prays to the Good God to give strength, patience and early recovery to the injured and prejudiced, and to rest the dead in peace.
We also humbly pray the Lord to help all the rescuers and volunteers involved in the good works of saving human lives and liquidating the consequences of the earthquake, including over 50 brave specialists from the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations of The Republic of Moldova who went on a mission to Turkey. We hope that the Savior, in His great Mercy, will give everyone hope and comfort to overcome this difficult trial and will protect us all from such plagues.
