Here His Eminence, accompanied by Mr. Eugen Chiriac and Mr. Nicolae Sîrbu, was welcomed by Fr. Mihail Nasonov, dean of the churches of Ireland, and the missionary Fr. Ghenady Socolov.
During the meeting, Metropolitan Vladimir also spoke with Father Constantin Uncu and Deacon Tudor Tcaci, ministers in the Diaspora.
The arch-pastor of our country was acquainted with the missionary and service activities for the benefit of our Christians living and working there.
“Serving in the diaspora, far from their native places, is by no means easy, but even greater is the joy when our Christians who are abroad have the great joy of participating in the Divine Liturgies and receiving the Holy Sacraments. Peace of mind cannot be found everywhere, and it is therefore good that where our Christians are, the ministers of the Holy Church should also be there, so that the Word of the Gospel, which is also peace of mind, may be preached to all.” said His Eminence Vladimir.
The priests thanked the hierarch for today’s visit and for the message of support and guidance, encouragement and fatherly love of our arch-pastor who is constantly caring for the Orthodox Church of the Moldovan Diaspora in Ireland.
