On the Feast of the Holy Prophet Elias of Tesvi, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Nativity of the Lord Cathedral in Chisinau.
The arch-pastor was assisted at the service by archpriest Vadim Cheibas, Cathedral Dean and Metropolitan Secretary, and numerous priests and deacons of the holy shrine.
The liturgical community prayed during the Liturgy for the peace and good will among people, asking heavenly intercession of the Old Testament Prophet Elias.
This Liturgy was very special for deacon Marin Grigorita, Theology student, who received priesthood ordination and was appointed to ministry in the Metropolitan Cathedral.
After the Holy Communion, archpriest Vadim Cheibas delivered a message of pastoral guidance, with the blessing of the hierarch. The priest spoke about the life of Prophet Elias and called people to follow the holy ascet’s fervent faith and righteousness.
