  • His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir celebrates today 45 years of clerical service and 30 years of arch-pastoral ministry

On 21st July 2019, the first hierarch of the Orthodox Church of Moldova, Metropolitan Vladimir, celebrates 45 years of clerical service and 30 years of arch-pastoral ministry.

On this occasion, the staff of the Metropolitan Administration, adhering to all congratulations that came from the hierarchs, clergy, and laity of the Metropolis of Moldova, addresses the following message to Metropolitan Vladimir:

    Your Eminence,

In these moments of outstanding spiritual joy, please allow us to communicate you our most sincere congratulations and wishes of long live, on the occasion of your celebrating 45 years of clerical service and 30 years of arch-pastoral mission.

You loved holiness since childhood, which later fructified in your priesthood ordination, and with the grace of God, you came to pastor the Orthodox Church of Moldova.

Arch-pastoral mission is far from easy. Although it is interweaved with hardship and temptation, thank to Your Eminence’s devotion and sincere love for our country’s clergy and people, you came to be loved and appreciated as wise and righteous father.

Such qualities that have always been characteristic of you have permanently inspired and motivated us to tend to improve and be more responsible in our spiritual life.

Kind and firm alike, you never hesitated to appreciate or to criticize someone according to merits, motivated by a noble fatherly feeling of supporting and guiding numerous spiritual sons and daughters.

Thus, on your anniversary, we pray to God that He bestows you with His rich blessings, maintaining you for many years ahead in complete peace and stillness at the helm of the Orthodox Church, enabling you to continue your mission of guiding the right-faithful clergy and people on the thorny way of salvation.

Ensuring you of our filial obedience and utmost appreciation, we wish you Long Live, Your Eminence!

With most cordial feelings and utmost respect,

    Staff of the Metropolitan Administration
