On the 22nd January the Hierarch of the Orthodox Church of Moldova was most heartily welcomed by the rector of the parish, Mitred Archpriest Marian Boldescu, and the parishioners, to celebrate the Divine Liturgy in the church of their community.
The Service began with the blessing of the Holy Table, after which father Marian, who is also protopriest of Telenesti circurscription, was rewarded with the Second degree Order of St. Reverend Paisy Velichkovski, in sign high appreciation of efforts made for the consolidation and spreading of Orthodoxy in the church circumscription that he administrates.
In what followed, a number of monastic and non-monastic clergymen were given church awards.
After the Divine Service, the parish rector thanked His Eminence for the honour exhibited to the clergy and parishioners of Telenesti deanery, by con-celebrating the Divine Liturgy, and assured the Archpastor of sonly obedience for the glory of the Lord and prosperity of Orthodoxy.
In his turn, His Eminence Vladimir congratulated the parishioners on this beautiful event, thanking them for their warm greeting, and calling them to continue their spiritual way with the same ardour and fidelity to our HolyChurch.
