During the Passion Week, according to tradition, on the eve of the feast of the Resurrection of the Lord, on Tuesday, April 30, the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Moldova, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir blessed the Easter gifts at “Franzeluța” Bakery in the municipality of. Chisinau.
At the consecration service, the Secretary of the Metropolis of Moldova, Protopriest Vadim Cheibaș and a choir of ministers prayed with His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir.
The event took place in the presence of the top management of the enterprise and many employees.
After the consecration service, in his address, Metropolitan Vladimir reminded those present of how housewives used to prepare cakes for the feast, and how they used to come to church with pasca on the day of the Resurrection. Continuing the long-standing tradition, today we celebrated the common prayer and the consecration of the traditional products for the Easter meal and we pray that the Good Lord will increase faith, love and peace in our hearts.
