  • H.E. Metropolitan Vladimir celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Dormition of the Mother of God parish, Redi-Ceresnovat village, Soroca region

    On the 7th Sunday after Pascha, the Sunday of the Holy Fathers of the First OEcumenical Council, the parishioners of Redi-Ceresnovat village, Soroca region greeted with much spiritual joy the Archpastor of the Orthodox Church of Moldova, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, celebrating the recent renovation of their parish church of the Dormition of the Theotokos.

    Thus, Metropolitan Vladimir celebrated the Divine Liturgy, assisted by Archpriest Vadim Cheibas, the Metropolitan Secretary, Archpriest Nicolae Cravet, Dean of Soroca church circumscription, and numerous priests and deacons from this church circumscription.

    At the Small Entrance, the parish rector, Fr. Anatolie Benzari, was rewarded by the Metropolitan the right of celebrating the Divine Liturgy with the Great Doors open till the Cherubim Hymn.

    A Thanks-Giving service followed after the Liturgy.

    Metropolitan Vladimir congratulated the parishioners and their rector on this event, mentioning about the historical significance of their community, and expressing hope that the parish will continue to enhance and unite people, spreading our ancestral spiritual and moral values, with the help and grace of God.

    Numerous parishioners who had supported the church renovation and the enrichment of the parish life were awarded metropolitan distinctions. The Archpastor thanked the church ctitors and parishioners for their incredible support.

    In his turn Fr. Anatolie thanked Metropolitan Vladimir for the fatherly care and archpastoral guidance, and for sharing the joy of the holiday.
