“Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? (Luke 18.18)
On the 34th Sunday after the Pentecost, with the blessing of the First Hierarch of the Orthodox Church of Moldova, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, Vicar Bishop Filaret of Căpriana celebrated the Holy and Divine Liturgy in the Nativity of the Lord Metropolitan Cathedral in Chisinau.
In his homily during the Holy Service, His Grace Filaret emphasized:
“If we make treasure of earthly riches, we stick our hearts to them, when we lose them, we remain empty-hearted. We must strive to be rich in eternal life, in Christ. Let us ask Christ to give us that strength of soul which would enable us to give up everything for Him. Let us put Him at the centre of our lives, love Him and serve Him with all our being. And then, let us ask Him to make us better, wiser, ready to sacrifice, devotion, and love.”
