Greeted by the clergymen of the Nativity of the Lord Cathedral and numerous church-goers, His Eminence Vladimir, Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova, celebrated the Divine Liturgy, praying along with the Orthodox people for the welfare and prosperity of the country.
Tens of voices sang in unison hymns of praise and fervent prayer to the Rightful Judge and All-Merciful Heavenly Father, thanking Him for endless mercy and grace, abundantly granted to the world.
This Divine Service was very special for Ghenadie Vieru, who was ordained deacon after he gave oath of spiritual service and obedience to Christ and Church. Deacon Ghenadie thanked His Eminence for entrusting this high mission to him, and promised to work constantly to achieve spiritual growth, in utmost love of God and people.
His Eminence blessed the faithful present in the church, and prayed for the good order of the world and life in harmony with the Divine wisdom to the glory of Christ.
