1st of November 2020, the 21st Sunday after the Pentecost: Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and all Moldova celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Metropolitan Cathedral in Chisinau.
The arch-pastor was assisted at the service by the Cathedral Dean, archpriest Vadim Cheibas, and numerous priests and deacons of the holy shrine.
Present among the praying community were the President of Moldova, Igor Dodon and wife.
Liturgical responses at the service were provided by the Cathedral Choir directed by Angela Angheni.
During the Liturgy, Metropolitan Vladimir ordained deacon Pancratie Țăruș into priesthood, appointing the clergyman to office in the village of Ciutulesti, Floresti region.
The Sunday Gospel Reading presents the Parable of the Sower, appealing to the faithful to be good listeners and workers of God’s Word.
