Tuesday, 30 October 2018, Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and all Moldova visited St. Nicholas parish in Holercani community to celebrate Divine Liturgy and consecrate the ecclesiastical building after renovation.
The arch-pastor was assisted at the service by archpriest Vadim Cheibas, Metropolitan Secretary, archpriest Teodor Pelin, Criuleni and Dubasari District Dean, archpriest Emanoil Grigoriev, the parish rector, and numerous priests from Criuleni and Dubasari church circumscription.
During the Small Entrance at the Divine Liturgy, the metropolitan awarded to archpriest Emanuil Grigoriev the right of wearing mitra. Numerous clergymen of the church circumscription were also awarded church distinctions in sign of the arch-pastor’s appreciation of their church ministry.
After the Liturgy celebrated in the old church of the parish, situated on the bank of the river Dniester, the metropolitan and the praying community went to the newly built chapel in the same parish, built in the middle of the village with the efforts of the parishioners and the parish rector. Here, Metropolitan Vladimir officiated the consecration service, assisted by the concelebrating priests.
