Today, 20 March, Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and all Moldova had a meeting with Her Excellence Ms. Maia Sandu, President of the Republic of Moldova.
The discussion referred difficulties experienced by the humanity and possible solutions leading to leading to improvements during the pandemic.
The parties discussed in the presence of archpriest Vadim Cheibas, Metropolitan Secretary, and Ala Nemerenco, Presidential Advisor on Health Issues.

In these difficult days we need hope, compassion, and generosity. The Church and the prayer are areas where the faithful may find support and comforting. Together we must make efforts to stop the pandemic and offer care to the citizens – asking people to wear protection masks and keep distance, calling them to avoid big groups and offer support to those in need. Together we can contribute to the efforts of vaccinations of citizens, and thus, protect lives of people and help to return to normal life as soon as possible.
We are in the period of Great Lent, a time that calls people to humility and gratefulness. This time is appropriate for spiritual care and devotion, for the prayer for the souls of the reposed, and for responsible action protecting the dear ones.
