Monday, 31 August, 2020, Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and all Moldova made a pastoral visit to the parish of Holy Archangel Michael in the community of Dubasarii Vechi, Criuleni district, celebrating the 25th anniversary of priesthood ordination of the parish rector, archpriest Teodor Pelin.
The arch-pastor was greeted at the entrance into the church-yard, by father Teodor and the parishioners, then the consecration of the Holy Table was officiated.
Metropolitan Vladimir then presided the celebration of the Divine Liturgy at a summer altar in the church-yard, assisted by archpriest Vadim Cheibas, metropolitan secretary, archpriest Teodor Pelin, parish rector and dean of Criuleni and Dubasari Church District, and numerous priests arrived from neighbouring communities.
Thanks-giving prayers were uttered during and after the Divine Liturgy, then Metropolitan Vladimir addressed a message of arch-pastoral guidance to the liturgical community. The hierarch congratulated archpriest Teodor on the 25th anniversary of priesthood ministry, highly appreciating the pastoral efforts and fruitful activity of the parish rector.
Archpriest Teodor Pelin thanked Metropolitan Vladimir for the visit and for the sharing of the spiritual joy of the feast, for the arch-pastoral guidance, and moral support of the community.
