On the 19th Sunday after the Pentecost, the Icon of the Dormition of the Mother of God and the holy relics of St. Lucas of Crimea where brought to the Nativity of the Lord Metropolitan Cathdral from the Caves Monastery of Kiev.
The holy shrines were met in the morning by H.E. Metropolitan Vladimir and numerous clergy and laity.
During the Divine Liturgy, the entire praying community had a special occasion to raise prayers to the Most Holy Theotokos and to Saint Lucas of Crimea the Wonder Worker, asking for their holy intercession before the Heavenly Throne of our Lord, praying for healing of the body and soul.
The holy relics will be placed in the Metropolitan Cathedral between 30th October and 30th November.
