With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, on the Fifth Sunday after Pascha, 18 May, His Grace Filaret, Bishop of Căpriana, celebrated the Holy and Divine Liturgy at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Nativity of the Lord in Chișinău.
This Sunday, known as the Sunday of the Samaritan Woman, brings before us the example of the woman who, upon meeting Christ at Jacob’s well, received the word of life and was transformed from a sinner into a witness of the Truth.
Through faith, sincerity, and a desire for change, the Samaritan woman became a model of repentance and zeal. Like her, we are also called to seek the living water of grace, to open our hearts to God, and to confess our faith with courage in the world.
