On Thursday, December 19, 2024, with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, His Grace Bishop Filaret of Căpriana, Vicar Bishop, officiated the Divine Liturgy on the occasion of the patronal feast of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker Church in Strășeni.
Joining His Grace in the service were Archpriest Victor Mihalache, the parish priest and secretary of Strășeni Deanery, Archpriest Iulian Rață, Dean of Orhei, along with an assembly of priests and deacons who came to honor Saint Nicholas in liturgical communion.
The liturgical responses were offered by the hierarchal choir of Căpriana Monastery, conducted by Mr. Vadim Ceban.
In his homily, Bishop Filaret highlighted the life and miracles of Saint Nicholas, urging the faithful to follow his example of charity, love, and steadfast faith.
After the Divine Liturgy, a Thanksgiving Te Deum was offered to God for all the blessings bestowed upon the parishioners.
On this festive occasion, the children present received gifts as a sign of joy and remembrance of this wonderful celebration.
