On the Feast of the Synaxis of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel and of all the Heavenly Powers, His Eminence Archbishop Anatolie, the Hierarch of the Diocese of Cahul and Comrat, officiated the Divine Liturgy at the patronal feast of the Episcopal Cathedral in the municipality of Cahul.
Concelebrating with His Eminence were: His Grace Siluan of Orhei, Vicar-Bishop of the Metropolis, His Grace Nicolae of Ceadîr-Lunga, Vicar-Bishop of the Diocese, Protopriest Mihail Mungiu, diocesan secretary and sacristan of the Episcopal Cathedral, together with an assembly of priests and deacons.
The liturgical responses were provided by the choir of the Episcopal Cathedral, conducted by Matushka Lidia Mungiu.
After the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, a Te Deum of thanksgiving and supplication for health was served, giving thanks to the Lord for all the blessings bestowed upon Father Mihail, upon the parishioners, and upon all who cross the threshold of this holy Cathedral.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, His Eminence Anatolie conveyed a congratulatory message to the cathedral sacristan, wishing him many years, health, spiritual strength, and salvation from the Lord, and awarded him the Order “Church Merit”, First Class.
Likewise, His Grace Siluan conveyed the message of congratulations and blessing from His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, addressed to Father Mihail on the occasion of the feast of his heavenly protector and of his birthday.
