On the 32nd Sunday after Pentecost, 2 February 2025, with the blessing of His Eminence Vladimir, Metropolitan of Chișinău and All Moldova, His Grace Bishop Ioan of Soroca and Drochia officiated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Moscow, the representation of the Orthodox Church of Moldova in the Russian capital.
Joining the Soroca hierarch in prayer were Hieromonk Efrem (Rusu), assistant parish priest of the representative church; Protopriest Nicolae Craveț, Secretary of the Diocese of Soroca and Drochia; Archimandrite Vlasie (Ușurelu), Abbot of the Monastery of the Holy Prophet Elijah in Nicoreni, Drochia District; Protopriest Alexandru Ilescu, dean of the Episcopal Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God in Soroca; as well as the clergy of the church and the faithful gathered for prayer.
After the conclusion of the Liturgy, Bishop Ioan delivered a sermon to those present, followed by a discussion with the parishioners and Moldovan compatriots residing in Moscow.
