On the second day after the Sunday of the Coming down of the Holy Spirit, also called “Holy Spirit Monday”, the Orthodox Church honours in continual prayer the “Treasury Good things and Giver of Life” who is the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Holy Trinity.
On this great occasion, His Eminence Vladimir, Metropolitan of Chișinău and all Moldova, celebrated the Holy and Divine Liturgy at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Chișinău.
The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Moldova was joined by the dean of the Metropolitan Cathedral, Archpriest Vadim Cheibaș, Secretary of the Metropolitanate of Moldova, together with the assembly of clerics of the Cathedral.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, with the blessing of His Eminence Vladimir, Archpriest Vadim Cheibaș delivered a message of spiritual guidance, mentioning: “By sending the Holy Spirit into the world, the world has been flooded with His gifts and man has the opportunity to become aware of these gifts, to share them and at the same time to advance towards the perfection that had been lost because of ancestral sin”.
