The 9th of July 2019, Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and all Moldova participated in the session of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church.
The session of the Synod was held at Holy Prince Vladimir Skete in Valaam Monastery, one of the biggest monastic settlements and centres in Russia.
The first hierarch of the Orthodox Church of Moldova participated at the Synod Session as permanent member. Metropolitan Vladimir was accompanied at the Synod by archpriest Vadim Cheibas, Secretary of the Metropolis of Moldova.
The session of the Holy Synod was presided by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all Russia.
Patriarch Kirill greeted the members of the Holy Synod and outlined the main subjects of the session agenda related to various aspects of ecclesiastic life and outcomes of activities events implemented during the previous semester.
