Saturday, 14 July 2018, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all Russia presided the session of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, held for the first time in Yekaterinburg.
The session was held in Tsarsky spirituality and culture centre within the All Saints’ memorial church.
Metropolitan Vladimir of Chisinau and all Moldova participated in the Synod session as permanent member of the Holy Synod of the ROC.
The Session of the Holy Synod was held within a series of events commemorating 100 years since the murder of the family of Russian Martyr Tsar Nikolay II and family, on 17th July 1918.
