On the 28th Sunday after the Pentecost, that coincided this year with the Feast day of Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called, the Archpastor of the Moldovan Church Metropolitan Vladimir celebrated Divine Liturgy at the Nativity of the Lord Cathedral in Chisinau.
The Divine service presided by His Eminence Vladimir united numerous church-goers who prayed to Saint Andrew for intercession before Lord Saviour.
During the service the Metropolitan ordained deacon Andrei Perju, giving pastoral advice to the young clergyman.
At the end of the Service, His Eminence delivered Archpastoral blessing to the church-goers, and then congratulated clerics of the Cathedral – Mitred Archpriest Andrei Burlescu, on the Feast of his Heavenly Protector, and Protodeacon Oleg Pascal, on his 7th anniversary of deaconhood wishing them pastoral wisdom and devoted service at the Holy Altar..
