In the morning, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir received in audience a group of students of the Orthodox Theology Department of the Aristotle University of Thessalonica, accompanied by prof. Vasilios Koukousas.
The students are now in pilgrimage to the most representative churches, monasteries, religious sites in Balkan countries: Bulgaria, Romania, Republic of Moldova.
His Eminence Vladimir talked to the guests about the ecclesiastic life in our country, about the most representative monastic settlements, and about the importance of pilgrimage that is an act of spiritual enrichment.
The Metropolitan also underlined the importance of experience exchange between Greek and Moldovan theology students.
In the end, the Arch-pastor wished the Greek guests to have a pilgrimage with rich spiritual outcomes, and their itinerary to include as many monasteries and tourism sites, as possible.
