The Hierarch urged the priests and the church-goers to pray to the All-Merciful Lord asking that He grant wisdom to all and Heavenly mercy to our country.

The Hierarch prayed to the Most Holy Mother of God, for Her most holy intercession and protection of all those in need, engaged in this God-pleasing Cross Procession, and highly appreciated the zeal of the participating worshipers, expressing hope that such beautiful activities will be organized more often in the future.

After the Acatist service and the arch-pastoral blessing, the believers started from the City Gates towards the church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God (Ciocana sector), after which they will head to the Christ’s Resurrection Church (The “St. Lazarus” – “Doina” cemetery), where they plan to arrive at 15.00, moving towards the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel Church (Durlesti) – by 21.00, and towards Saint Reverend Parascheva Church (At the Oncological Institute), where the Divine Liturgy will be officiated at 24.00. The Cross Procession will finish on the 20^th of July, at 7.00, with a Te-Deum service officiated at the Nativity of the Lord Cathedral.
