On the 30th Sunday after the Pentecost (Sunday of the Forefathers), His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, assisted by His Grace Ioan, Bishop of Soroca and Vicar of the Metropolis of Chisinau and all Moldova, and priests and deacons of the Cathedral, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the presence of numerous church-goers.
In the festive atmosphere of the Sunday Service, deacon Ciprian Boian was ordained priest and awarded the dignity of wearing Epigonation, Kamilafka, and Gold Cross.
In the same day Metropolitan Vladimir ordained deacon Andrei Enachi, appointing him cleric in the Meeting of the Lord University Chapel.
On this blessed occasion, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir wished the newly ordained servants of God to be worthy of their high mission and to wear their cross with humility and utmost obedience.
Bishop Ioan also congratulated the new clerics, wishing them to dedicate their entire life, strength and love to the service to God, for good guidance of the Christians.
