Christ is Risen! He is Risen Indeed! This life-bearing greeting resounded in this bright night at Chisinau Metropolitan Cathedral during the Divine Services of the Feast celebrated by His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir and numerous priests.

Along with hundreds of Christians who gathered in the holy church and in the square around it in the Holy Night was President Nicolae Timofti along with the First Lady, Interim Prime-Minister Iurie Leanca, Ex Prime-Minister Vlad Filat, and other state figures.

On the Paschal Service, the message of the Metropolitan was read out. Thus, His Eminence Vladimir, congratulating the faithful on the Feast of Feasts, mentioned: “Witnessing the Resurrection of Christ means not only keeping in soul His vivid and bright image, but also making efforts to see it in the person of one’s neighbour. This means taking care not only of one’s own prosperity and happiness, but of the well-being and happiness of all people around”. The Metropolitan called all the community: “ Let us all authentically experience the presence of the Risen Savior!”
