After major refurbishment, the church of the Miracle of the Archangel Michael in Oliscani village, Soldanesti raion, welcomed His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir to celebrate the Divine Liturgy with the blessing of the Holy Table and the church building.
At the service, His Eminence Vladimir was assisted by numerous priests from Soldanesti ecclesiastic circumscription. This was a very special day for Gavriil Boboc, who was ordained deacon by His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir.
After the Divine Liturgy the priests followed the Metropolitan in a procession around the church building, with Gospel readings, and then Te-Deum service was celebrated to give thanks and praise the Lord.
In what followed, His Eminence Vladimir congratulated the parishioners and the rector of the church on this beautiful event, thanking them for their efforts in finishing the renovation of the church, and inviting them to express the same zeal in spiritual matter.
Father Rodion, rector of the church, thanked His Eminence for the honour showed to the parish of Oliscani village and for sharing the joy of the feast, ensuring the Archpastor of sonly obedience and further good administration of the parish entrusted to him.
After the service the church-goers were offered church calendars, and then participated in a brotherly Agape dinner.
