In the day of commemoration of the discovery of the relics of Saint Sergius of Radonezh, called the Elder of All Rus’, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir along with a big number of arch-pastors and clerics participated in the Divine Service officiated by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill in the Sergiev Posad Holy Trinity Monastery.
At the Divine Service, His Eminence Vladimir prayed along with Patriarch Kirill, Patriarch Iriney of Serbia, present at the event, numerous metropolitans, arch-bishops, bishops. The Hierarch of the Orthodox Church of Moldova transmitted to the community of the Holy Monastery the message of congratulation from the clergy and laity of the Metropolis of Chisinau and All Moldova, as well as the gratefulness of Moldovan pilgrims who are always received in this historical Lavra with much warmth and who come to revere the holy relics of Saint Sergius of Radonezh, praying for his holy intercession before the Rightful Judge.
