  • His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir participated at the Divine Liturgy on the commemoration day of the Synaxis of Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel and all Bodiless Heavenly Powers, celebrated by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill.

On the day of commemoration of the Synaxis of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel and all Bodiless Heavenly Powers, His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Kremlin Cathedral of Holy Archangels.

The members of Inter-Council Presence– archpastors of the Russian Orthodox Church, including H.E. Metropolitan Vladimir, Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova, H.E. Juvenaly, Metropolitan of Krutitsk and Kolomna, H.E. Clement, Metropolitan of Kaluga and Borovsk, H.E. Iriney, Metropolitan of Dnepropetrovsk and Pavlograd, H. E. Mark, Archbishop of Berlin and Great Britain, and other church leaders participated at the Divine Service.

According to the tradition of the Holy Archangels Cathedral – the sanctuary of the Royal Family and Great Princes of Moscow, during the Divine Liturgy prayers were uttered for the repose of the souls of the servants of God, ever-commemorated Protectors of the Russian Church, founders and rulers of Holy Russia, the right-faithful princes and princesses who ruled Russia.

In the end of the Divine Liturgy, Patriarch Kirill prayed at the much-venerated icon of Archistrategos Michael, depicted on iconostas of the Cathedral, after which His Holiness addressed with a pastoral word to the faithful community gathered at the service.
