In the atmosphere of utmost spiritual elevation and solemnity, the monastic community of the Holy Monastery of Theodore of Tyre (Ciuflea Monastery) that is in Chisinau, headed by its spiritual administrator, Right Reverend father Nicolae (Rosca), welcomed His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir who celebrated the Divine Liturgy assisted by the monastic clergy in the presence of numerous Christians.
During the Divine Service, His Eminence Vladimir rewarded father Nicolae with the right to wear Jeweled Cross, in sign of high archpastoral appreciation of the work done for the glory and prosperity of the Orthodox Church of Moldova, within the Monastery of Ciuflea.
This service was very special for deacon Nicolae Sanduta, who was ordained priest, and for Serghei Iordachescu, who was ordained deacon.
The arch-pastor wished the young clergymen to be worthy of their high mission and to remember the significance of this day, when the entire Orthodox world celebrates the birth of Holy Forerunner John, and that they pray during all their lives to St. John asking his guidance and intercession before our Lord Jesus Christ.
In the end of the service, Right-Reverend father Nicolae (Rosca) thanked His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir for his pastoral love and care, assuring the arch-pastor that with the help of God, he will continue to work for the consolidation of the faith and prosperity of the Truth-loving people.
