Dear co-nationals, beloved members of our Orthodox Church,
We recently celebrated the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ, Christmas, and entered into the new calendar year with hope for a better future, for peace and good understanding.
In this context, we are very sad to witness the latest events in our society, actions that instigate to hatred and violence. They bring discord among our people, prevent us from being united and supportive to each other, as it should be among good Christians.
Any disagreement emerging in the society should be solved peacefully. Thus, our Christians, regardless of their nationality of political orientation, should collaborate in the spirit of peace and mutual love.
We are appealing to the wisdom and understanding of all our Christians. Do not sell your souls for some false illusions, do not allow chaos and hatred install in our society! Let us protect our children, the future of our families, let us preserve Moldova in peace and harmony.
We should hope and trust All-Good God Who will make justice to everyone – justice that we will never obtain through instigation to violence and discord.
Let us all pray for good understanding in our Country, and may God preserve us from unrest!
