On the Seventh Sunday after Holy Pascha, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Metropolitan Cathedral, assisted by priests and deacons of the Cathedral.
The Divine Service was celebrated in the presence of numerous Christians who came to share their spiritual joy with the Arch-pastor, thanking the Lord for His endless mercy and praying for the peace of the whole world and for the repose of all those who moved to the eternity.
During the Divine Service His Eminence Vladimir ordained the theologian Vasile Simeonel into the dignity of Deacon. The Metropolitan wished the young clergyman to be worthy of the obedience entrusted to him, to be a humble servant of the Holy Altar and to dedicate his whole life to the service to the Lord and people.
Deacon Vasile thanked the Arch-pastor for advice and guidance, and promised to His Eminence that he will be an obedient son of the Church and bear his pastoral yoke for the salvations of the Christians and glory of the Orthodox Church of Moldova.
At the end of the service the church-goers received Arch-pastoral blessings with which they returned home sharing the joy of the day with their families.
