Thursday, 24th November. The church-goers of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel parish of Septelici Village, Soroca Region had much spiritual joy, for their church was consecrated after years of renovation.
With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated by His Grace Ioan, Bishop of Soroca and Vicar of the Metropolis of Chisinau and All Moldova. Numerous priests from the diocese and church-goers participated in the service.
During the Small Entance, following the report of Archpriest Nicolae Cravet, Dean of Soroca church circumscription, and with the blessing of the Hierarch of the Moldovan Church, the parish rector, Fr. Igor Cotofana was awarded the highest church distinction – the right of wearing Mitra.
Closing the Service after the procession around the church, Bishop Ioan delivered a homily to the clergy and parishioners, congratulating the community on this significant event in their life.
His Grace called the faithful community to preserve their beautiful relation with Christ’s Church, because this is the place where we find joy and inner accomplishment, develop virtues that are so important for the life of a true Christian.
