  • Diplomas handed to new promotion of Academy of Orthodox Theology of Moldova

    In a festive atmosphere, along with the administration of the Academy of Orthodox Theology of Moldova, relatives, and friends, the new promotion of the Theological Academy graduates participated in a Divine Service celebrated by His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir and the clergymen of the Holy Three Hierarchs chapel, prior to the ceremony of handing the Diplomas of Graduation of the Academy of Orthodox Theology of Moldova.

    In his word to the new graduates, Metropolitan Vladmir, the Rector of the Academy of Orthodox Theology of Moldova, thanked the young men for their diligence during the years of their education and for the respect they showed to the teachers – who did their best to plant the seeds of Evangelical wisdom and love for the holy matters in their hearts. Thus, His Eminence expressed hope that this promotion of the AOTM will also bear with dignity the good name of the institution, and will become worthy servants of the Holy Altar, for the glory of God and the salvation of the faithful people.

    The Archpastor congratulated the teaching staff, headed by the depute Rector of the Academy of Orthodox Theology of Moldova, Mitred Archpriest Vetcislav Cazacu, highlighting the self-denial, professionalism, and high pedagogical profile of all those who has been working for years to raise new generations of theologians.

    In their turn, the group of graduates cordially thanked His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir for constant care of the Academy students, expressing also gratitude to the teaching staff, for their great patience and persistence they have proved during the years of study.

    This year the Theological Seminary promoted 28 graduates, while the Academy of Orthodox Theology of Moldova promoted 49 BA and 16 MA graduates, Mrs. Rodica Slivca, headmaster of the Theological Lyceum Seminary informed.
